Speaker Bios:
Joseph Herbert practices primarily in the areas of construction law and employment law, including representation of condominium and homeowner associations, businesses, and other commercial clients in litigation matters. Mr. Herbert has a background in business management, which he draws from in order to provide a unique perspective on the challenges facing his business clients. Mr. Herbert earned his B.S. degree from the University of Florida and his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Stetson University. He is a member of The Florida Bar Labor & Employment Section, Trial Lawyers Section, Construction Law Committee, as well as the Sarasota County Bar Association Labor & Employment Section, Trial Lawyers Section, and Business Law Section.
Ben Briggs represents clients in all aspects of labor and employment law, including wage and hour, discrimination and retaliation claims, drafting employment contracts and manuals, restrictive covenants, and separation agreements. Ben has been recognized for his practice by both Florida Trend Legal Elite and Florida Super Lawyers.
Jason Collier is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in labor and employment law. Known for giving practical and prompt legal advice, employers turn to Jason for his more than 15 years of experience handling a broad range of employment disputes, including wage and hour litigation, discrimination and retaliation actions, restrictive covenant and trade secret claims, and other employment litigation.
