Dr. Alcock is an Associate Professor of Political Science and former Director of Environmental Studies at New College of Florida where he teaches a broad range of courses on politics and the environment. Dr. Alcock currently serves as a political contributor for ABC news in Sarasota and CBS News in Tampa, and is working as a Senior Fellow with the Collins Center for Public Policy. He was a 2011 U.S. Senior Fulbright Scholar to New Zealand and from 2006-2010 he served as the Director of a Marine Policy Institute in Sarasota.
