Gulf Coast Builders Exchange understands your concerns about privacy on the Internet and takes them very seriously. Online giving through us is strictly permission-based: You control all information captured in this website. Like other nonprofit organizations, we will collect only aggregate information on the number and frequency of visits to various parts of our site so we can make improvements and increase your satisfaction with our organization. Your e-mail address will be used to send you a confirmation or contact you if there are any problems. Please note that your e-mail confirmation will not contain your credit card number.

When you register for a membership, we collect only enough financial information to process your payment.
Our credit card processing service is not authorized to retain, share, store, or use your personal information.
In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, we do NOT solicit or knowingly collect any online information from children under the age of 13 without prior verifiable parental consent.
Gulf Coast Builders Exchange uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) online technology, which encrypts the data you provide. This means that sensitive information, such as your credit card number, becomes unreadable to anyone who wrongly intercepts the information. SSL is supported by all major Web browsers, including Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. The site becomes locked while you are giving us your credit card information and unlocks only when you leave the secured area. To know when you are going to a secure area of a website, you can set your browser to notify you. (If you are using Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced, and scroll down to the section called Security. Then check the box that says "Warn if changing between Secure and not Secure mode.") Other ways to know if you are in a secure mode is to look for a gold key or a gold padlock in the bottom or upper right-hand corner of your browser window. Also, when you are in a secure area, the address bar at the top of your window will indicate "https" as opposed to "http."
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Notice of changes will appear on this page and any such changes will be prospective, never retroactive.
GCBX accepts on line monetary transactions for memberships and events via its’ website and as such has no need to ship "items" or "products". We operate a refund policy. If an incorrect amount has been entered by mistake, the amount can be adjusted or refunded as long as we are notified within seventy two hours of the date of the original transaction. Any credit or refund will be made to the originating card’s account, less any charges incurred by Gulf Coast Builders Exchange. You will need to provide in full, the details of your transaction and produce a copy of the "digital receipt" that was emailed to you at the time of donating.
