EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR ~ MARY DOUGHERTY

 It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the Executive Director of the Gulf Coast Builders Xchange. Thank you for placing your confidence in me to represent you and serve the Board of Directors and the Membership of this fine organization as we strive to build on past successes and move into the future. While our businesses, families and community face many challenges as we rebuild after the "great recession", it is imperative that we stay strong and focused on the advocacy efforts that will help us weather the current economic storm. We must develop new and innovative ideas to make our businesses stronger and prepare for the future.

We must work with our elected officials to ensure a business friendly environment. We must engage and educate our elected leaders, so they understand that excessive regulations and exaction place unnecessary burdens on our businesses. We must work with government officials at the local, State and Federal levels to create a strong regional economy that will continue to thrive for many years into the future.
To face these challenges and ensure the success of our efforts, we need you to continue to support the Gulf Coast Builders Xchange and our members. Now more than ever, members must commit to work with members to strengthen member businesses and our local economy. We must further strengthen the Xchange by increasing our membership and thereby strengthening our voice for our industry and our issues.

Associate Director  ~ Kelly Monti

With 20 years of experience in event planning, I am very grateful to be the Associate Director at GCBX to help our members connect and support each others businesses through our networking socials, Annual Dinner, Food Truck Rally, Sporting Clay Tournaments and our Golf Tournaments.  I have worked as an Event Manager for the Amelia Island Chamber of Commerce, the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce and also planned educational conferences across the country for the National Creditors Bar Association.

My favorite hobbies are reading, exploring small towns in Florida with my husband, Bill, and taking long walks with our mini schnauzer, Jeter (The Captain).
