Job Overview

This job consists of administrative duties for an active Land Surveying Department. This role is ideal for an independent worker with great communication skills. Office administration is responsible for communicating with clients and other employees on a consistent basis to ensure projects are being scheduled and tracked appropriately between departments. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Answering phones
  • Taking property information from Builders, Realtors, Contractors, Homeowners, etc.
  • Researching property details on County websites
  • Setting up new projects in Ajera and adding phases to existing projects
  • Preparing estimates and proposals with the assistance of the Survey Manager
  • Preparing and submitting FEMA Elevation Certificates
  • Preparing work orders for field crews
  • Entering field crews time sheets daily
  • Creating new project files on server, scan, and save all related documents to project file
  • Manage petty cash
  • Filing
  • Run Errands – Post Office, drop office documents
  • Keeping track of office supplies


  • Must have a valid Drivers License
  • High School Diploma, Associates Degree in business related field (Preferred)
  • 5+ years experience in an office setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
