    Junior Commercial Electrician

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Junior Commercial Electrician to join our electrical team and support senior electricians on commercial projects. This role is perfect for someone with basic electrical knowledge or experience who wants to grow their skills, gain hands-on training, and advance in the commercial electrical field.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with Electrical Work – Support senior electricians with installations, wiring, conduit, devices, and setup of commercial electrical systems.
    •  Learn & Apply Skills – Read basic electrical drawings, participate in on-the-job training, and develop knowledge of tools, codes, and safety standards.
    • Perform Routine Tasks – Run wire, bend conduit, install boxes/fixtures, and help with inspections, testing, and troubleshooting under supervision.
    • Maintain Safety & Organization – Follow OSHA and company safety procedures, use PPE properly, and keep tools and job sites clean and organized.
    • Team Collaboration & Reporting – Communicate effectively with crew, take direction from lead electricians, and provide progress updates.

     

    Qualifications

    • 5-10 years of prior electrical experience - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Eagerness to Learn – Motivated to grow technical skills and learn from experienced electricians.
    • Foundational Knowledge – Basic understanding of electrical concepts, tools, and components.
    • Reliability & Work Ethic – Dependable, punctual, and committed to working hard with minimal supervision.
    • Teamwork & Communication – Works well with others, follows direction, and communicates clearly on the job.
    • Safety & Physical Readiness – Follows safety protocols and can handle the physical demands of commercial electrical work.

    Position: Residential HVAC Service Technician

    Job Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment with proper documentation as directed by supervisor.
    • Troubleshoot equipment failures and diagnose proper repairs.
    • Set up and operate equipment as directed.
    • Maintain thorough knowledge of reading and understanding schematics.
    • Obtain and maintain necessary certifications applicable to the industry.
    • Utilize mathematical formulas to determine both nominal and effective tonnage requirements.
    • Promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with proper operation of all equipment.
    • Accurately complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
    • Consistently strive for results that achieve standards of excellence.
    • Installation of systems in a commercial or residential new construction building process.
    • Change out systems in a commercial or residential building.

    Job Requirements:

    • Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and background check.

    Position: Commercial HVAC Chiller Mechanic

    Job duties include but are not limited to:

    • Evaluate mechanical and controls systems to ensure optimal performance in facilities.
    • Effectively read and understand controls diagrams.
    • Coordinate subcontractors.
    • Diagnose, service and repair heating and cooling equipment for a variety of commercial, industrial and medical facilities, including large tonnage or split systems.
    • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment, including chillers, boilers, split systems, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs and fans.
    • Troubleshoot software such as Trane TechView, Trane Rover, Trane Tracer TU, Carrier Service Tool, Carrier CCN, and Watt Master Prism.
    • Maintain and troubleshoot air flow, air distribution, building pressure, VAV systems and VFDs.
    • Set up and operate commercial-level equipment, as directed.
    • Mentor Commercial HVAC Service Technicians and Commercial HVAC Service Helpers.
    • Review crewmember timesheets, as needed.
    • Procure project materials, as needed.
    • Maintain thorough knowledge of reading and understanding schematics and blueprints.
    • Obtain and maintain necessary certifications applicable to the industry.
    • Promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with proper operation of all equipment.
    • Experience with air- and water-cooled chillers (scroll, semi hermetic, screw, and centrifugal) and their operating characteristics.
    • Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and their operating principles.
    • Ability to operate, diagnose and install frequency drives.
    • Crane lift and rigging.
    • Accurately complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
    • Consistently strive for results that achieve standards of excellence.

    Job Requirements:

    • Valid Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, to drive company vehicle.
    • Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
    • Minimum of five years of experience in a related field.
    • Experience repairing commercial HVAC equipment – Chillers, boilers, fresh air equipment.
    • Knowledge of system services.
    • Mastery of Trane, Carrier, AAON, Leibert, Daikin/McQuay and York interfaces/operating systems.
    • Familiarity with OAUs and their principles of operation.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Strong work ethic and time management skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with other team members.
    • Good coordination, physical fitness and dexterity.
    • Ability to think outside the box to create innovative and money-saving solutions for clients.

    Position: New Construction Plumbing Working Foreman

    The ideal candidate will be proficient in the professional application of directing and coaching plumbers that perform their craft on new construction job sites.

    Must have practical knowledge of materials used in the installation, maintenance and alteration of new construction plumbing systems including venting, water distribution, plumbing fixtures and traps.

     Job duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Direct and support team of plumbers on new construction jobs in a professional and positive manner.
    • Regularly create and communicate status reports for team and job site progress.
    • Hold team members accountable to company performance and quality standards.
    • Train and support all company safety directives.
    • Rough-in; reading blueprints and specification sheets.
    • Knowledge of current Florida plumbing code.
    • Copper, PVC, CPVC and cast-iron installations.
    • Sanitary systems and venting.
    • Ability to perform tub sets (cast iron and steel), and second rough-ins.
    • Shower pan installations.
    • Proper heights, strapping and support of stub-outs.
    • Proper sealing of all openings (rodent proof).
    • Problem solving/troubleshooting.
    • Testing procedures of completed work (ensuring work passes inspections).
    • Thorough clean-up of job site.
    • Any reasonable task assigned by supervisor or management.
    • Demo and patching concrete floors.
    • Accurate use of a tape measure.
    • Good knowledge of basic math, including fractions.

    Job Requirements:

    • 5 or more years of experience in New Construction Plumbing
    • Possess high school diploma or GED equivalent
    • Possess own tools necessary to perform required jobs/tasks.

    Physical Requirements:
