Sarasota, FL -  For an unprecedented 13^th year in a row, Mullet’s Aluminum Products, Inc. received the prestigious Aluminum Association of Florida’s 2019 Award of Excellence at the association’s annual board meeting which was held at Reunion Resort in Orlando, FL on November 9^th.    

Mullet’s Aluminum received awards in three (3) different categories – RAILINGS and ALUMINUM AWNINGS, SHUTTERS & WINDOWS categories and honorable mention in the MISCELLANEOUS METALS category. 

The Railings Category award was for fabrication and installation of glass railing systems which were installed at the Treasure Island Resort on Clearwater Beach.  The owner / developer is Ocean Properties and the General Contractor was MOSS Construction – a member of the Gulf Coast Builders Xchange (GCBX).

The Aluminum Awnings, Shutters & Windows category award was for replacement windows and doors in a high-end, luxury condominium on Longboat Key.  Mullet’s Aluminum is one of the largest window and door replacement contractors on Florida’s West Coast and specializes in residential and multi-story replacement projects.

And the Miscellaneous Metals category honorable mention was for fabrication and installation of an aluminum building façade and trellis at the new City of Bradenton parking garage.  The General Contractor was NDC Construction – also a member of the  Gulf Coast Builders Xchange (GCBX).

The Award of Excellence represents the highest standards in overall project quality and craftsmanship within the aluminum and glass industry within the State of Florida.
